Fly-in Outpost Cabins
Each of our 9 cabins are on different sized lakes, one of which is on a river, and are fully equipped for housekeeping. All include comfortable sleeping, hot water, shower, solar charged electric lighting, refrigerator, full size gas stove with oven, screened in porch, propane BBQ , satellite phone communication with base camp, boats with padded swivel boat seats, motors and gas.

A brief description of each lake follows:

Springpole is 100 miles from camp and our northernmost outpost. This lake is 15 miles long with islands, rocky points, drop-offs and rapids. The waters offer excellent walleye and northern fishing with a bonus of large lake trout. It is part of the famous Cat River system and joins 2 other lakes. The cabin is centrally located on the lake and offers great fishing as close as your dock.

Fawcett is 97 miles from camp, 3 ½ x 4 ½ miles in size and connects to Gull Lake and Zionz Lake. Excellent walleye fishing and big northern are well known features of this lake. With a variety of rapids, many weed beds and rocky islands, the entire lake provides a wealth of exciting catches.

87 miles northeast of camp, this lake is part of the Cat River system. Rivers, rapids, waterfalls, rocky points and weed beds make this lake a great haven for walleye and big northern. This lake is strictly conservation license only.

Located 75 miles northeast of camp, this cold deep 2 x 3 mile body of water contains many rocky points, reefs and drop-offs. Offering a traditional style cabin, you have the whole lake completely to yourselves. The lake is geared toward the expert walleye and northern fisherman. 30” walleye and 40+” northerns await you.

Our big 4 bedroom deluxe cabin at Otatakan Lake accommodates up to 10 people and is an ideal getaway for large groups or families. The 11 mile long lake offers continuous great action for walleye and northern. Groups catching well over one thousand walleyes is not uncommon. A screened in fish cleaning house and an indoor flush toilet are an added bonus. Located 65 miles north of camp, the Root River and Wesley River are part of this 11 mile long lake.

7 Miles north of base, this quiet 5 mile long river connects Wapesi Lake to Lac Seul. The traditional style outpost cabin accommodates 2 to 4 people. It is very secluded and you have the river all to yourselves. There are numerous walleye and northern to be caught as close as your dock. Long weed beds and 2 rapids offer great action. Have your camera handy for sighting a moose or capturing a grand sunset.

32 miles north of camp, our cabin is located on the northeast end of Lac Seul. Tuk Bay is home to trophy walleye, northern pike, smallmouth bass and musky. An option of flying and/or boating in begins in July. A long sand beach fronts the cabin. The cabin has 4 bedrooms and is one the finest you will find on all of Lac Seul.

Kabi is a nearby lake of 3 x 4 miles, exclusively known for large walleye and good northern. With a waterfalls pouring into it, Kabi is a real jewel of a lake for fishing and beauty alike. Catch and release of all trophies from this lake is strictly enforced. The cabin comfortably sleeps up to 10 people.

Keike is a super lake with abundant walleye and trophy northern. Excellent fishing starts at the long weed bed just off the dock. It is 7 miles long, fed by a river, and has many weed beds and rocky points. It is only a 10 minute flight from base camp. The cabin has 3 bedrooms and comfortably sleeps 8 - 10 people. A lakefront screened in fish cleaning house completes this beautiful location.
